SAE India

SAEINDIA is India's leading resource for mobility technology. As an individual member driven society of mobility practitioners the ownership of SAEINDIA wrests with its members who are Individuals from the mobility community, which includes Engineers Executives from Industry, Government Officials, Academics and Students. SAEINDIA is an affiliate society of SAE International registered in India as an Indian nonprofit engineering and scientific society dedicated to the advancement of mobility industry in India.

IEEE

The AGM of Adi Shankara Instituteof Engineering and Technology SB was held on 9th February 2015 at the College Mini Seminar Hall. Director S G Iyer, Head of Computer Science department Mr.Rajaram were present along with Branch councillor Ms Gomathy ,WIE Advisor Ms Anitha P and other IEEE members.Altogether about 40 members were present

ISA

The International Society of Automation (www.isa.org) is a nonprofit professional association that sets the standard for those who apply engineering and technology to improve the management, safety, and cyber security of modern automation and control systems used across industry and critical infrastructure.

CSI

Formed in 1965, the CSI has been instrumental in guiding the Indian IT industry down the right path since its formative years. Today, the CSI has 72 chapters all over India, 511 student branches, and more than 100000 members including India's most famous IT industry leaders, brilliant scientists and dedicated academicians. The mission of the CSI is to facilitate research, knowledge sharing, learning and career enhancement for all categories of IT professionals, while simultaneously inspiring and nurturing new entrants into the industry and helping them to integrate into the IT community.read more

National Service Scheme

National Service Scheme (NSS) is a voluntary organisation launched in Gandhiji’s birth centenary year, 1969. The program aims to promote personality development by means of participation in community service. Starting from a handful of 37 universities, today it has got more than 3.2 million student volunteers from all over the country.

Literary and Debating Club

The Literary And Debating Club aims at fostering and promoting literary talents, critical thinking and social awareness among the budding technocrats. The club offers a competing platform for the knowledge hungry students. Students develop self efficacy, better perception on current affairs and appropriate communication skills. We work in tandem to benefit students in the disciplines of speaking and writing.

IETE

An introductory class on mini project was taken in September 2012 for the S6 students by final IETE members. Information was given on the various criteria to be taken into consideration while selecting topics for mini projects. Illustration of the same with examples was very much impressive.

NPTEL

The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), a project funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), provides e-learning through online Web and Video courses in Engineering, Sciences, Technology, Management and Humanities.

ASME

ASME is a not-for-profit membership organization that enables collaboration, knowledge sharing, career enrichment, and skills development across all engineering disciplines, toward a goal of helping the global engineering community develop solutions to benefit lives and livelihoods. From college students and early-career engineers to project managers, corporate executives, researchers and academic leaders, ASME's members are as diverse as the engineering community itself. ASME serves this wide-ranging technical community through quality programs in continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations and other forms of outreach.
