Welcome to the 2nd edition of ICIMS—ICIMS’22: 9-11 June 2022
Recently, the world is seeing a boom in the amalgamation of intelligent and automation systems in almost all the conventional and non-conventional domains of Mechanical Engineering. Cutting edge research and innovations in these aspects are of critical importance considering the growing Industry 4.0 scenario. Accordingly, an international forum for pioneering researchers, scientists, engineers, professionals and students to project their cutting-edge research and to get involved in fruitful discussions are of great importance.
Keeping this in mind, we, at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kalady, Kerala, India, are organizing the 2nd edition of International Conference on Innovations in Mechanical Sciences (ICIMS-22). The conference aims to provide an inter-disciplinary platform concerned to Mechanical Engineering domain, spanning across the research inclusive of basic experimental, numerical and application levels in manufacturing engineering, industrial and systems engineering, prediction and distribution, thermal engineering, fluid mechanics, metallurgy & materials science, artificial intelligence, robotics, additive manufacturing, and much more. A special emphasize is given on intelligent/smart systems in manufacturing considering the current Industrial IoT trends, however, the scope of the conference covers 9 major tracks mentioned below. The conference is mentored by strong and competent international and national advisory committees, and is technically supported by Siemens Centre of Excellence at NIT Tiruchirappalli and industrial partners such as KSB MIL Control valves and ICUBE.
Interested participants will enjoy the keynote lectures by eminent and internationally renowned resource persons in various domains, virtual manufacturing lab experience, exposure to international community, panel discussions, and may utilise the platform for effective networking. We expect the authors to publish original and quality research articles, which are not submitted elsewhere. Also, we consider plagiarism as a serious offence, and the authors are requested to make sure that the submitted articles have plagiarism not more than 15%. Accepted articles will be published in Scopus Indexed conference proceedings, and UGC approved journals (Journal name will be updated in due course).
