IBM ICE Global Certification Programme

Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology became the venue for the All-Kerala launch of the IBM ICE Global Certification Programme. The curriculum, and course materials used in these courses have passed through a very high level of quality scrutiny at various levels. Among the six courses offered by IBM, three courses got launched today at ASIET and they are Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning, Business Analytics and Data Sciences. 70% of the delivery of the IBM course will be through online real-time classes and 30% through contact classes.

The student assessment for these courses is most unique, comprehensive and valid in the academic rating. Instead of the conventional examination method, IBM evaluates each student based on the training hours spent both in the real and virtual classroom, on the time spent for the online self-study on the portal, assignments and assessment test performance. The unique digital credential provided by IBM to the students who complete their course is linked to the IBM data base that will communicate to the likely employer, the transcript and all relevant details concerning the candidate. This system increases the employability of the students anywhere in the world. Among the 120 futuristic jobs and placements for which the successful participants of the courses become eligible, some of the most significant are: AI/ML Engineer, Developer & Architect, Machine Learning Developer, AI/ML Product Engineer, Data Analyst, Front-end Developer, AI/ML Lead Data Warehouse Engineer, etc.
